- Sten gun of the type known as "Sten Mark III", of a caliber of 9 mm, British made. This is a simplified version of the Mark II model that section commanders were provided with. This weapon was widely distributed to British and Canadian troops during the battle of Normandy. Discovered at the site of a Canadian camp settled by soldiers from July 25th to August 5th, 1944. The camp is currently being excavated at Fleury-sur-Orne (Calvados, Normandy).
